Women generally are quite fond of pictures and especially on their wedding days they want to look their absolute best and nothing short of perfect will satisfy them. When one spends so much time and effort on the perfect wedding dress, the perfect makeup, it then becomes an absolute necessity to get a professional photo shoot. I love working with brides and bridal solo portraits are always a fun to do. Each bride is beautiful and unique in her own way and capturing that beauty and essence in a single lens is a challenge in itself, one which I love to take.
Bridal portraits can be done in a variety of ways using different techniques and locations. Each bride has her own preference on where and how she wants her pictures to be taken. Some prefer indoor photo shoots while other brides prefer outdoor photography at sunset or twilight. My job being one of the best wedding photographers in Sydney and Melbourne is to balance the wishes of my clients with the technicalities of it. The idea is to take each snapshot in a way that only captures the scene but also the expressions making the portrait as real as it can be. Bridal portraits are usually done before the wedding ceremonies when the bridal makeup is still fresh and before the fatigue sets in. Bridal portraits, like couple portraits usually take a few hours but the results are spectacular. I have had the pleasure of working with multicultural brides both Eastern (Hindu and Sikh) and Western brides and each experience helped me broaden my horizon.
Feel free to call me or leave me a message on my website or email me and I would be more than happy to walk you through the different options, techniques and ideas for bride portraits. Located in Sydney has its advantages as it allows me to work on some breathtaking sites and create the perfect snapshot.
