Engagement is as important part an event as is the actual wedding. An engagement is a promise of spending the rest of your life with someone and marks the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Engagement portrait sessions are quite short and extremely fun. It is quite an experience to capture the emotions and expressions when you are sliding a ring on their finger and my job is to capture not only that moment but also the emotions and the expressions paying across their features. Personally, I believe that engagement portraits provide an excellent opportunity to capture those moments where I become we which marks a new beginning.
I always recommend couples to get their engagement portraits done, even if they are not having some elaborate ceremony. Even if it is a small intimate gathering, getting professional pictures taken is always a good idea. I like to think of myself as a contemporary photographer and so I often try out different techniques and ideas to see what works best. I have had the privilege of covering many kinds of engagement ceremonies both Eastern and Western and each experience and couple is unique. Taking pictures of people and their intimate moments is and always have been a very personalised practice for me. Photography is my passion and some people may find the idea of a Sikh photographer quite unusual but for me it is extremely liberating and my background has allowed me to experience multicultural events and pursue photography as a profession with weddings and anything associated with it being my favourite event to cover.

Located in Sydney has its advantages as it allows me to work on some breathtaking sites and create the perfect snapshot.
